We get a few authors who ask us about the headers on their book recommendation page as they do not feel the grammar is correct. That is ok :)
Here is what I am referring to:
These are stylistic headers on the page; with web design, we don't have much room as this design has to scale from mobile to desktop. Those headers indicate to our visitors what that section is about in an efficient manner. In our user testing, we have not had any confusion.
Who am I?
If we had more room, it would say, "Who am I, and why did I pick this topic". We also use this paragraph in other parts of the website to pull people toward your list. That is why in the submission template doc, we ask this based on your passion, as we have found that it creates a better connection with readers.
What is my book about?
We want to use "my" here as that connects with readers and impresses them.
